ASIAN PACIFIC ISLANDER SENIOR COALITION MEETING

 

SANTA ANA, Calif., May 3, 2002 - Orange County Supervisor Charles V. Smith, 1st District and Art Leahy, CEO of the Orange County Transportation Authority will address the county’s efforts on effectively reaching out to and serving the senior Asian community at the Asian Pacific Islander Senior Coalition meeting May 16, 10 a.m. – 12 p.m. at the Orange County Hall of Administration, 10 Civic Center Plaza in Santa Ana. Leahy will also discuss OCTA transportation improvements for seniors. The coalition meets regularly to provide input on the needs of the senior Asian community.

The Office on Aging, which provides resources to nearly 400,000 seniors throughout the county, is dedicated to improving the lives of older adults living in Orange County.
